This Request for Qualification (RFQ) is to establish a pool of pre-qualified contractors that can quickly compete for Citywide painting projects as they arise. For the purposes of this RFQ, Painting and Coating. projects are defined as those under $50,000 (Fifty Thousand Dollars). Entry into this Pre-Qualification pool is an acknowledgment that the pool members satisfy the pre-qualification criteria. TA It is the intent of the City to select a minimum of four (4) primary contractors and two (2) alternate contractors for entry into the Pre-Qualification pool. Each selected Firm shall enter into a continuing contract with the City. When any primary contractors are removed from the pool, the next alternate will be moved to the primary pool in the order of the committee's scoring. The qualification will be for contractors to provide and furnish all materials, labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, fees, expertise, and services on an as-needed basis for projects. Projects will be initiated by the City upon issuance of a solicitation or task order and shall be advertised to all pre-qualified contractors. If a contractor in the Pre-Qualification pool fails to respond to more than three (3) consecutive requests for proposals by the City, whether by offer or response of no bid, the contractor shall be removed from the program and all subsequent bidding opportunities under this contract.
