TREE MAINTENANCE: REMOVAL, STUMP GRINDING, AND PRUNING ON BOROUGH TREES Bids will have the date and time stamped upon receipt. Bidder is only responsible for the timely delivery of the bid and no bids shall be considered that are presented after the public call for receiving bids. Any Bid received after the date and time specified will be returned, unopened to the Bidder. Bids are to be submitted by regular mail or overnight delivery service, or hand-delivered in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Borough Clerk's Office and marked "Public Bid" with the name and address of the Bidder, and labeled "Tree Maintenance Services" on the outside of the envelope The Borough assumes responsibility only for mailing the bid package to the prospective bidder and not for proper and timely delivery of the bid package. The Borough will not be responsible for bids mailed. Prospective bidders shall telephone at least twenty-four (24) hours or at least one (1) business day in advance to reserve a bid package. Bidders shall be required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1 et seq.. The Mayor and Council reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities therein in accordance with applicable law.
