Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mountainside, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Borough Clerk of the Borough of Mountainside for: "CONTRACT 2024-3 - RESURFACING OF SHORT DRIVE" Bids shall be endorsed on the outside of the envelope with the name and address "BID PROPOSAL FOR CONTRACT 2024-3 - RESURFACING OF SHORT DRIVE". Plans and specifications will be available on September 13, 2024. Bids shall be in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Borough Engineer. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or a bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of the bid, not to exceed $20,000.00 and made payable to the Borough of Mountainside as a Proposal Guaranty. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of NJSA 10:5-31 et. seq. and NJAC 17:27. The Borough of Mountainside hereby reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to award the contract to any bidder whose proposal, in the Borough's judgement, best serves its interest. This project is funded by the New Jersey Department of Transportation as a Municipal Aid Project under the 1984 New Jersey Transportation Trust Fund. All work is subject to NJDOT Commissioner's approval. The project award is subject to approval by NJDOT for "RESURFACING OF SHORT DRIVE".
