Resurfacing of Friar Lane, Justin Place, Kings Court and Queens Lane Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or a bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of the bid, not to exceed $20,000.00 and made payable to the Borough of Mountainside as a Proposal Guaranty. The Borough of Mountainside hereby reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to award the contract to any bidder whose proposal, in the Borough's judgement, best serves its interest. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. If you are an interested contractor and wish to be listed as a bidder, please notify our editorial staff at addtobidlist@constructconnect.com. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for oral answers to inquiries or instructions by any person previous to opening of proposals. Should any bidder be in doubt as to intent of Plans and Specifications; he should at once notify the Engineer in writing, who will send a written Bulletin to all bidders covering the point in question. Questions will not be answered if received after 1:00 P.M., eight (8) calendar days before bid opening date. Failure of proper interpretation or making the necessary inquiry will be the Contactor's responsibility.
