The Union County Improvement Authority is soliciting bids for the Old Trailside Museum Sanitary Lift Station project, located at 452 New Providence Road, Mountainside, New Jersey. Instructions to bidders: Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bond of a surety authorized to do business in New Jersey in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount, but not exceeding $20,000. Bids must include a consent of surety stating that the surety will provide the required bonds if the bidder is awarded the contract. Bidders must submit an original and two copies of their bid in a sealed envelope, clearly marked on the outside with "Old Trailside Museum Sanitary Lift Station" along with the bidder's name, address, telephone and fax numbers, and the date of bid opening. Bidders are responsible for timely delivery of their bids. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The Authority reserves the right to reject any bid in accordance with applicable laws and to reject any bidder deemed not responsible under law. Technical errors may be addressed in accordance with applicable laws. For questions about the bid, they must be submitted in writing to the designated representatives via email. Any addenda will be posted on the Union County Improvement Authority website, and it is the responsibility of the bidder to obtain any addenda.
