Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

This item shall consist of furnishing the labor, materials and equipment required to refurbish, deliver and install a Prefabricated Bridge as shown on the plans and as approved by the Engineer. All work shall be done in accordance with these specifications and accompanying drawings, AASHTO LRFD Guide Specifications for the Design of Pedestrian Bridges 2nd edition, AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications 7th edition (AASHTO LRFD), Guide for the Development of Bicycle Facilities 4th edition and the Michigan Department of Transportation 2020 Standard Specifications for Construction. All work to be level, true to line and grade in a good quality workmanlike manner. The Contractor shall coordinate with the Owner on providing the existing (30' span, 12' width) prefabricated bridge to be refurbished and installed as shown on the plans.
