Renovation of a municipal facility in Sitka, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This project consists of the replacement of the existing HVAC pneumatic controls system, in its entirety, with a new Diamond Controls DDC, removal and replacement of existing VAV boxes and undersized ducts, and all other work associated in accordance with the plans and specifications. The contract will require certificates of insurance and performance and payment bonds. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5 percent of the total bid price must accompany each bid that exceeds $100,000. The Bid Bond may be in the form of a certified check made payable to the City and Borough of Sitka or a Bid Bond issued by a surety licensed to do business in Alaska. Questions can be directed to Contract Manager, at publicworks@cityofsitka.org. Inquiries shall be submitted no later than Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 5:00:00 PM Alaska Time Zone. City and Borough of Sitka reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities. The Engineer's Estimate for the base bid and alternates is between $600,000 and $700,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
