The City of San Marcos ("the City") requests Proposals from interested, qualified Respondents capable of providing full-service operations, maintenance, and management for the San Marcos Utilities Wastewater Treatment Facilities located at 720 River Road, San Marcos, Texas, The initial term of the resulting Agreement, subject to approval by the City Council, will be ten (10) years with two (2) five (5)-year renewal options. While the City plans to enter into a long-term agreement with the selected Contractor, the City reserves the right to choose not to renew the contract at the end of each renewal period, (Years 10 and 15) with the Contractor providing a one (1) year transition period. Renewals will be subject to City Council approval. The City reserves the right to determine which Response is in the City's best interest and to award the contract on that basis, to reject any and all Responses, and waive any irregularities of any Response.
