Ashland Avenue Pipe Replacement Project Bidders are required to provide Bid Security in an amount equal to 10% of the total amount bid. Bid Security may be provided in the form of a certified check or a bid bond issued by a Surety Company licensed to transact such business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Upon award of a contract, the Successful Bidder shall provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the awarded contract value. All questions during the bidding period must be submitted through web site. Answers to any questions received during the bidding period will be distributed to all bidders through web site. Any questions received by means other than through web site will not be answered. Whether a question is responded to by the Local Contracting Agency is at the sole discretion of the Local Contracting Agency. B. Bidders can submit questions by visiting the project solicitation on web site and selecting the "Ask A Question" button from within the project solicitation. Questions may be submitted until the question cutoff time that is established on the "Project Details" tab within the project solicitation. The Borough of Folcroft is replacing a collapsed storm sewer pipe along Ashland Avenue that crosses underneath Delmar Drive. The project includes replacement of the existing corrugated metal storm pipe with a reinforced concrete storm pipe, connection to existing storm sewer structures, permanent pavement restorations, ADA curb ramp replacement, concrete curb replacement, installation of concrete bollards, replacement of an existing traffic sign, asphalt and concrete driveway/parking area restorations, landscaping and incidental work. The scope of work is more fully described in the Project Specifications herein and on the Project Plans. 2. The Borough will be paving Ashland Avenue under a separate contract for the 2024 Road Program which will be performed within a similar time frame to the Ashland Avenue Pipe Replacement Project. The Contractor will be responsible for coordinating with the Contractor for the 2024 Road Program to ensure that all work performed within the cartway of Ashland Avenue is completed prior to paving operations
