San Diego State University (University), University Police Department is requesting proposals from firms qualified to provide Janitorial Services. The proposals will be evaluated by a committee selected by the University and award will be made in the best interest of the University. The services provided by the Contractor shall include, but not limited to, sweep and mop floors, dust and wipe surfaces, vacuum, clean mirrors, and sanitization of toilets, showers, and sinks within the University Police Department once per week. The University reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to award one or more contracts. Award, if any, will be to the Bidder, whose proposal best complies with all of the requirements of the RFP documents and any addenda. A "Notice of Intent to Award" will be posted publicly for five (5) consecutive working days prior to the award. Written notification will be made to unsuccessful vendors. The contract term is anticipated to be for an initial (base) period of three (3) years with two (2) two-year options to extend.
