The Project involves construction and repair work for public infrastructure, which may be located at various streets, trails, parks and other facilities located throughout the City. The Work is to be performed on and on-call and as-needed basis, based on Work Orders issued by the City, as further specified in the Contract Documents (attached hereto and incorporated herein). Representative Project scope includes, but is not limited to, any or all of the following: o Removing and replacing existing damaged concrete curb and/or gutter, and sidewalk; o Removing and replacing existing valley gutters; o Removing and replacing existing concrete driveways; o Removing and replacing existing median island curb and/or gutter; o Removing existing curb ramps and installing new ADA-compliant curb ramps; o Removing and replacing asphalt pavement in conjunction with the concrete work; o Construction of concrete paths; o Miscellaneous concrete work as directed; o Notification of property owners; o Installation of traffic control systems necessary to complete work on collector, arterial, and residential streets; o Minor design and field fitting of standard details to allow successful completion of all of the above; and o Other incidental and necessary work for performance of the above in conformance with the City of San Ramon Standard Details, the current Caltrans Standard Specifications, and specified provisions of the current Caltrans Standard Plans, all of which are incorporated by reference herein. This Project requires a valid California contractor's license for the following classification(s): Class A or C-8. Questions, requests for clarifications, or objections regarding the RFQP, the Project, or the Contract Documents must be submitted in writing to Jonette Fuentes, Administrative Analyst, at jfuentes@sanramon.ca.gov. Oral responses are not authorized and will not be binding on the City. Proposers should submit any such written inquiries or objections no later than 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. The selected Proposer will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the maximum Contract Price of $499,999, as further specified in the Contract Documents. Council Approval and Award Tuesday, November 12, 2024 Commence Services January 1, 2025 The Contract is structured for a one-year term, which may be renewed by the City for up to two additional one-year terms subject to the limitations on the maximum Contract Price. City reserves the unfettered right to reject any or all Proposals at any time. City reserves the right to modify the RFQP, the deadline for submission of Proposals, the Contract Documents, or the scope of Work at any time prior to the deadline for submission of Proposals and will notify the Proposers on the Plan Holders List of any such changes by issuing an addendum. The City reserves the right to waive immaterial irregularities in a Proposal or in the RFQP procedures.
