The City of Portsmouth is seeking the services of qualified land surveying firms to provide technical support for city projects of varying scale and scope on an "as needed" basis during the contract period. The selected firm(s) must be licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia. The contract period shall be for one year and may be renewable for four additional one-year terms. Firms responding to this request shall be experienced in a full range of land surveying services, including but not be limited to boundary, topographic, and hydrographic surveys, and monumentation for city projects. Firms shall be capable to provide plats and other mapping as necessary to support acquisitions and dispositions of City owned property, and easements and rights-of-way related to surveying projects within the City of Portsmouth and on city owned land. All required services must be provided by qualified, certified personnel. Any questions regarding this RFQ may be directed to Kashera Lane at lanek@portsmouthva.gov. The City establishes a project specific M/WBE goal that is a percentage of the dollar value of all services and goods the procurement contract requires (including any contingency). The M/WBE goal established for this solicitation is 12%. The City reserves the right to utilize other providers for planning and engineering services and is not obligated to award any or all services to the annual contract provider(s).
