Reference Number 0000277370 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/10/02 12:00:00 AM EDT General contractors and mechanical and electrical sub-contractors who wish to bid on Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC) and/or Providence Care (PC) and/or Quinte Health (QH) Projects in range from $2,000,000.01 to $20,000,000 are required to Pre-Qualify. Previously pre-qualified contractors and sub-contractors are required to re- apply. Submissions will be assessed using pre-established criteria on a point basis. QH reserves the right to add new Quinte-Area contractors to the Pre-Qualified Contractor list provided they meet the criteria noted within this RFP. The list may be revised to include new contractors only once every six (6) months. Pre-Qualified Contractors will be permitted to bid on all Projects with estimated construction values between $2,000,000.01 to $20,000,000, and will be required to submit a bid for subject Projects according to the respective bid documents, and, if successful on the bid, the successful bidder will execute a CCDC contract with the Owner as identified in the bid documents. Bidders will be required to provide a 10% Bid bond, and letter of surety for 50% Labour and Material Payment Bond and 50% Performance Bond on all projects bid upon. The list of Pre-Qualified Contractors resulting from this RFP shall come into effect on the day of the completion of Proposal evaluations as set out in Section 4.2 (RFP Schedule), and expire on December 31, 2028. The Purchaser, in its sole discretion, may extend the term by 1 year increments to a total of extending the original term by 2 years.
