Regional waterline expansion from Ponoka to Maskwacis. This extension represents the final phase of the regional waterline, fulfilling the original design objectives of the system. Upon completion, the project will ensure reliable access to drinking water to the four First Nations within the region: Montana First Nation, Samson Cree Nation, Ermineskin Cree Nation, and Louis Bull Tribe. TIMELINE: Project is in early stages of development. Submissions for an RFP from engineering consultants are currently under review. The awarded proponent is to provide and deliver engineering services for a regional waterline expansion project, covering design, permitting, and construction oversight. It involves coordination with the Timelines = for tender and construction to be determined. Further update pending award of contract.
