Extension of the Commission's waterline from the Town of Ponoka to the boundary of the Ermineskin Cree Nation reserve. The waterline would initially connect ECN, but would be designed to also accommodate the Samson Cree Nation, Montana First Nation, and Louis Bull Tribe should those communities wish to connect to the waterline in the future. TIMELINE: The owner is seeking proposals for Project Management services. The awarded proponent will act as the owner's representative overseeing the waterline extension from its current status through pre-design, detailed design, commissioning and warranty closeout. It is expected that the procurement of an engineering firm will be one of the first orders of business. Further details and project schedules may be confirmed mid-/late fall 2024. *Capital cost of the waterline extension is $38.9M.
