** As of 09/26/2024, This project was not awarded due to budget reason. 1.01 The purpose of this project is to replace the existing worn asphalt shingle roof with new asphalt shingle roofing in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and criteria for steeply pitching roofs. For price quoted in relation to this project, contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, taxes, overhead, fuel, subcontractors, and all other direct and indirect costs necessary for a fully operational, functional roof system in accordance with the Contract Documents, plan drawings (if any), and the manufacturer's recommendations. 1.02 Contractor shall be solely, wholly, and completely responsible for the safety of all employee(s) working in connection with this project (excepting OWNER employees). Work shall conform to all safety related Statutes, rules, ordinances, and guidance whether at the federal, state, county, or local level. 1.03 A lump sum bid is sought for Wyocena Barn Roof (4,500 sq ft +/-). Work will include; but not be limited to, shingle roofing, vents, flashing, trim metals, removal, disposal of all demolition debris, procure new materials, replacement, and install the new roof system. Columbia County Highway and Transportation Department (Owner) hereby requests lump sum bids for all removal, material procurement, shipping, delivery, repair and installation of a replacement asphalt roof for a barn located at the main Highway Shop, 338 Old Highway 16 West, Wyocena, WI 53969. Work is to include, but not be limited to; demolition, removal, disposal, transport, trucking, procurement of new materials, placement, installation, delivery, shipping, incorporation into the work, labor, benefits, overhead, supervision, project management, taxes, insurance and all the other necessities in order to complete project in accordance with specifications and plans for Barn (4,500 sq ft +/-). Bonds are required for the work. 5% Bid Bond shall be delivered with the Bid on the date due. Performance and Payment Bonds shall be executed along with the awarded Contract to the lowest, responsible BIDDER; forms included within the Bid Specification. Contract schedule: entire project completed prior to the end of the day on Saturday November 30, 2024.
