Description

Site work and paving for a civil project in Santa Maria, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

In general, the work consists of providing a new 2,250-foot long 12" diameter gravity sewer in Church Street between S. Depot Street and S. Broadway Street, two 200-foot long 8" diameter relief gravity sewers and associated sewer manholes; providing irrigation and irrigation control wire conduits for future installation of irrigation lines and control wires; re-routing of an existing 8" asbestos cement water main in the alleyway west of S. Broadway Street to accommodate construction of new sewer diversion manhole; trenching, pavement restoration, hardscape and landscape restoration where required, re-striping pavement; and all work required to fulfill the intent of the Plans and Specifications for the project and necessary to render the facility complete and operational. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids as the best interests of the City may dictate and, to the extent permitted by law, waive any irregularity in any bid. If there is any reason for believing that collusion exists among the bidders, the City may reject any or all bids.
