Neighborhoods with low-moderate households face the biggest challenges for maintaining and improving homes. Therefore, equitable opportunities to grow financial equity from their home creates more inequities. Executing this project will provide the City with opportunities to make improvements for quality of life in neighborhoods that were already challenging prior to COVID and have been exacerbated by COVID impacts. Spending more time at home working, kids need to be entertained more at home, kids need to be able to play in yards safely and walk or ride bike to park safely.
