Site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Norton, Ohio. Completed plans call for the addition of a parking garage; for the renovation of a parking garage; for site work for a parking garage; and water / sewer project.
Public Service Garage Additions General Contract, Base Bid $3,400,000 Bids must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid, or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the ORC, in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the City of Norton. FMD Architects will receive questions about the project until 12:00pm local time on Monday, September 9, 2024. FMD will release an addendum by 10:00am local time on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. The Notice-to-Proceed is to be determined, contingent on City Council approval. Contract Completion and Final punch lists for this project are to be completed by September 2025. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Summit County and the City of Norton, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration, 614.644.2239. The City of Norton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.
