Renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 154,542-square-foot educational facility; for the addition of a 1,892-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; 9,286-square-foot educational facility; and 197,260-square-foot educational facility.

Project Information General Contract work shall include the base bid of all high school work including two additions and site work at the rear of the building. Work in the existing building includes some office modifications and a café as well as roof steel modifications adjacent to the new additions to address snow load requirements. Alternate #1 is the Middle School music room addition and related site work and snow load accommodations. Alternate #2 is the site work for the parking lot at the middle school, new parent drop off roadway and high school roadway work at the front of the school. HVAC work shall include the extension of the existing HVAC piping and new ductwork. New HVAC equipment shall include rooftop units, DOAs units, ductless split systems, VAV boxes, cabinet unit heaters, exhaust fans, and fan coil units. The existing ATC system shall be expanded into the Addition space. Plumbing work shall include the extension of the existing sanitary, supply lines and gas piping into the new Addition spaces. New storm, and vent lines shall be provided. Plumbing fixtures shall be provided, including all ejector & sump pumps, grease interceptor, roof drains and associated plumbing accessories. Electrical work shall include new panelboards, transformer, breakers in switchboards and panelboards. LED lighting with lighting controls, tamper proof duplex and tamper proof GFCI, and special outlets. Fire alarm devices, data jacks, WAP, HDMI and USB outlets, door access, security cameras, intercom systems, and public address speakers. Site lighting and exterior building lighting (Alternates) are also included.
