Project Installation of Two Pre-purchased Vulcan Stair Screens at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The work will generally consist of the following: 1. The City of Haverhill Purchased two (2) Vulcan Stair Screen (Model No: ESR 28/1662/6). The Contractor is responsible for demolition and removal of the existing stair screens. 2. The contractor is responsible for developing a detailed installation plan including timeline and coordinate with plant management to schedule installation activities. 3. Installation consists of preparing the installation site, including any necessary modifications to existing structures and ensure all safety protocols are in place and adhered to. 4. Contactor will install the two Vulcan Stair Screens as per manufacturer specifications and ensure proper alignment and secure mounting of screens, reconnect screens to existing electrical systems and verify electrical connections are compliant with relevant codes and standards, reconnect screens to existing control systems and ensure control systems are fully functional and integrated with the new screens, reconnect screens to existing wash press and ensure wash press operates correctly with the new screens. 5. Vulcan will provide the services of a factory employed service technician who shall adequately inspect the installation, test the equipment, and instruct the owner's operating personnel in its maintenance and operation; and will provide two (2) trips of four (4) days to inspect and certify operation.
