Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ozark, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Bids received after TIME will be returned unopened. All bids shall be submitted on the Bid Form provided. All blanks must be completed in ink or by typing. If the Bidder elects to use an electronic version of the Bid Form, the Bidder assumes all responsibility for the accuracy of the bid items, including the units, unit prices, extended prices, and total base bid. The Scope of Work includes construction of a paved parking area, paved trailhead connection, storm drainage pipe, traffic control, erosion control and other incidental items and work described in the Project Manual, or reasonably inferable therefrom. Ozark Greenways anticipates issuing notice to proceed in October 2024. Bidders may make printed copies of the bid documents (plans, project manual, and a bid packet) at their own expense. When requesting the ftp link, you will be required to provide your company name, a contact person and phone number, a complete company address and an e-mail address to be added to the Plan Holders List and for receiving official bidding communications and addenda. If you are not on the Plan Holders List, you will not receive any addenda issued. Project and bidding questions shall be conducted exclusively via e-mail. Any questions regarding this project must be submitted to: Matt DeMoss at mdemoss@cmtengr.com, by 4:00 pm local time on September 17, 2024. No written questions after this date or any verbal questions will be recognized. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as established by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (Federal Wage Rate), or state wage rate, whichever is higher. Ozark Greenways, Inc. reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities in the bid documents. The successful Bidder shall comply with certain insurance requirements as specified in the bid documents. Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects shall provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Second tier subcontracting will not be permitted on this project. Ozark Greenways, Inc. hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award. THE OWNER INTENDS TO AWARD THE CONTRACT TO THE LOWEST, RESPONSIVE, RESPONSIBLE BIDDER. THE OWNER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS, AND TO WAIVE ANY IRREGULARITIES IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE OWNER WITH MODOT'S CONSENT. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered electronically to all parties recorded by the Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received after 4:00 p.m. local time on September 5, 2024 will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding.
