**As of March 03, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The work for which proposals are invited consists of constructing a 50'X43' wood framed fire truck bay facility, 16' to the square with a cast-in-place concrete foundation and pre-engineered wood trusses. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name ofthe party or parties submitting the Proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on the projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractorsto be used. The Owner intends and requires that the project be completed no later than June 27, 2025. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Preble County as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration, 614-644-2239. Village of West Manchester reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding, and to enter into a contract as soon as possible with the bidder whom in their consideration offered the lowest and best proposal. The bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with the name of the project you are bidding on and the company name submitting the bid marked on the front of the envelope.
