The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Financial Operations Division (FOD) is requesting a phase 100 study be performed to review the existing roof structure at the Crystal Falls Office. The intent is to review the existing roof structure, current insulation, existing ventilation conditions and existing roofing. The DNR is looking for recommendations on any structural repairs/upgrades, ventilation and insulation upgrades as well as a recommended roof replacement as the current roof has reached the end of its service life and has had leak issues and there are times when the roof snow load causes binding of doors within the facility. Please do not submit online questions via VSS. ALL questions should be emailed to Jeff Barsch at barschj@michigan.gov address no later than 2:00 p.m., Eastern on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
