Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Nicolet, Quebec. Design plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.
Construction of a service pavilion and footbridge at 20 and 30 rue Notre-Dame in Nicolet. The current building that currently house a branch of la Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) will be demolished. The Promenade component involves the construction of a pedestrian promenade along Louis-François-Pinard and 12-Novembre Streets, as well as along a portion of Curé-Brassard Street for approximately 250 meters. A lookout overlooking the river at the intersection of 12-Novembre and Curé-Brassard Streets will be built. The lookout will need to be large enough to accommodate street furniture, allowing residents and visitors to gather and enjoy the view. TIMELINE: Contract for architectural services to completed design (#401-200-21349-2) has been awarded. Reference number: 20041111. Design is underway and expected to be completed by January, 2026. Tender call is anticipated in early 2026. Construction is expected to start in spring, 2026. Further update in early 2026.
