Document A310 or via certified check as part of the bid. A performance bond and labor and material payment bond will be required for this project in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the contract amount. The Board of Fire Commissioners of the Terryville Fire District reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Event bid note: Bids must be sealed in a sealed envelope and shall bear on the face thereof the name and address of the Bidder and shall be submitted as follows: By regular or express mail, special delivery or FedEx to: Terryville Fire District, 19 Jayne Blvd. Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776 and be received by 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 17, 2024; or delivered personally by 3:00 pm. on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at the district offices of the Terryville Fire District, 19 Jayne Blvd. Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. All bids must be submitted on forms furnished by the Fire District, in accordance with the specifications and instructions to Bidders. The responsibility for having the bid received at the time and place of the bid opening remains the sole responsibility of the bidder without exception. All bids must meet the requirements of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York and all other applicable statutes and have a statement of non-collusion. All documents submitted in connection with this bid will become the property of the Fire District and the Fire District will not return the bids submitted. The contract will be awarded by the Board of Fire Commissioners to the lowest responsible bidder. In cases where two or more responsible Bidders submit identical bids as to price, the Board of Fire Commissioners may award the contract to either of such bidders. The Board of Fire Commissioners reserves the right to reject all bids and re-advertise for new bids in its discretion and/or to waive any informality in any bid which it deems immaterial in nature.
