The purpose of this Request For Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals to acquire the services of fully qualified and licensed Architect/Engineering firms to perform comprehensive Architect/Engineering services for the County School Board of York County, Virginia on an as-needed and requested basis. Services may include work within the following areas: Architectural, MEP Engineering, Geotechnical and Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering all or in part, depending on the needs of the Owner. Services may consist of but are not limited to: Facility and/or grounds enhancement and utilization studies, feasibility studies, design and administration of project construction, services related to minor and/or new construction or renovation projects, plumbing, landscaping, acoustics furnishing design, programming cost estimates for future capital improvements, assistance in preparation of Capital Improvement Program documentation, studies and/or audits determining compliance to federal, state and local regulations, and any other additional services as requested by the Owner. Questions or comments related to this solicitation shall be directed to the Contract Officer not later than 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024. All questions shall be submitted in writing (email is preferred). Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals in whole or in part and to waive informalities in an Offeror's proposal. Further, the Board reserves the right to enter into one or more contracts deemed to be in its best interest. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
