The County of York, Virginia (Owner) is seeking the services of a qualified contractor, to restore approximately 1,100 LF of stream and construct an Extended Detention BMP on the Grafton-Bethel Elementary School property to reduce flows to the stream and provide water quality benefits. The stream restoration will repair eroding banks, stop an active headcut, and include bankfull bench areas to improve water quality and reduce in-stream velocities and stresses. The Work under this Project shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, permits, and fees to construct the improvements per the specifications and contract drawings.
