The City of Ames (City) is soliciting proposals from qualified professional Firms to provide Architectural and Engineering Services and Construction Management for completion of the design, development of plans and specifications for the addition of a cold storage building and the renovation of the current Parks Maintenance Building at 700 E. 13th Street, Ames, Iowa for the Parks & Recreation Department. Contract Award: October 22, 2024 Project Start Date: October 28, 2024 The goal of the project is to complete interior renovations of the Park Maintenance Building which may include restrooms, break room, additional parking, and staff workspaces. Also, the Park Maintenance Fleet has increased over the last several years and the goal is to consolidate the majority of the equipment and attachments that are currently housed outside and at other locations into one site inside one cold storage structure at 700 E. 13th St. See attached map.
