Site work and addition to a water / sewer project in Oak Hill, Florida. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
PC has been selected by Volusia County as the construction manager for the Southeast Regional WRF Expansion project in Oak Hill, Florida. The proposed project will include improvements to the existing plant to increase the capacity to 1.2 MGD AADF and provide Advanced Wastewater Treatment (AWT). This project includes modifications to the existing oxidation ditch and construction of a new headworks structure, biological nutrient removal (BNR), secondary clarifier, tertiary filtration system consisting of disc filter units, chemical building, electrical building, and stand-by emergency generator system. PC will work with Mead & Hunt, Inc. and CPH Engineers, Inc. as the engineer on this project. Construction is expected to begin in the summer of 2025 with completion scheduled for summer of 2027. Questions Due Date: Remains 09/12/24 @ 5:00 PM EST The purpose of the project is to provide treatment facility capacity expansion and effluent disposal to meet the anticipated growth within the SERWRF wastewater management system service areas, support elimination of septic tanks in the North Coastal Basin of the Indian River Lagoon, and support reducing nutrient loadings to the environment.
