Renovation of a mixed-use development in Montreal, Quebec. Design plans call for the renovation of a stadium; and clubhouse / community center.
Upgrades and repairs to the Pierre-Charbonneau Community leisure centre with multidisciplinary sports and cultural facilities. The scope of work includes renovations and upgrades of the facilities to ensure public safety and sustainability of the building, modernization of its facilities to improve quality, reduction of the building's ecological footprint and increasing its resilience in view of climate change, restoration and enhancement of its heritage components, in particular the modern art ceramic murals. TIMELINE: The project is preliminary. The Ministry of Education has officially selected this $20M project for implementation under Component 1 of the PAFIRSPA program. The awarded architectural professional consultant has submitted to the owner a prepared functional and technical program and established project concept. Project preparation is ongoing. Timelines of the project development are being finalized. Further update in late 2026. Note. The PAFIRSPA program imposes a strict time constraint: all funded work must be completed no later than December 31, 2028.
