Renovation of a mixed-use development in Montreal, Quebec. Design plans call for the renovation of a stadium; and clubhouse / community center.
Upgrades and repairs to the Pierre-Charbonneau Community leisure centre with multidisciplinary sports and cultural facilities. The scope of work includes renovations and upgrades of the facilities to ensure public safety and sustainability of the building, modernization of its facilities to improve quality, reduction of the building's ecological footprint and increasing its resilience in view of climate change, restoration and enhancement of its heritage components, in particular the modern art ceramic murals. Note. According to the preliminary estimations the value of the project may be as high as $10-$20 million. TIMELINE: The project is preliminary. The awarded architectural professional consultant has submitted to the owner a prepared functional and technical program and established project concept. The owner has awarded by invitation the consultant Francine Vanlaethem for the preparation of a heritage study and elaboration of a conservation strategy during the project implementation (solicitation 2025-031-GG /20100170). Project preparation is ongoing. Timelines of the project development are being finalized. Further update in late 2026. following the solicitation Preliminary studies and concept establishment are underway.
