As of October 29, 2024 This was an RFI (Request for Information). No award is being made. This was to gather information to budget for a potential future solicitation. Reference Number 0000362143 This request is for information only to assist Mapleton Public Schools in determining how best to fulfill the renovation requirements described herein. Be advised that this may be a two-step process. Should the District determine to proceed with a solicitation based on the responses to this Request for Information (RFI), phase two will then be either a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation to Bid (IFB) to be handled in accordance with District purchasing policies and procedures. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to solicit technical and performance narratives along with suggested pricing information from vendors. Fluorescent lights are becoming obsolete 1/1/2025. Online Section 8 establishes the Clean Lighting Act to phase out the sale of general-purpose fluorescent light bulbs that contain mercury. Upgrade all interior and exterior lighting at specified locations to LED lighting and provide lighting control Systems. Lighting control system to be specified: Acuity Sensorview that is connected to the network. No site visits will be conducted. We don't know the exact number of lights to upgrade. Square footage of locations are included in Attachment A. Should the District decide to proceed with an RFP, work would be completed in the summer of 2025.
