Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Georgetown, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Harrison County Fiscal Court will be receiving sealed bids for replacement of a bridge on Finnell Road in Harrison County. The Court reserves the right to accept or reject any/or all bids. The size ofthe replacement bridge deck shall be 20'x 60'x 8' with no skew and 8 foot long wing walls at 45 degrees New structure shall be constructed ofASTM A588 Weathering Steel with open grid deck or concrete as approved by the Kentucky Department of Transportation. Must include guardrail approved by the Kentucky Department ofTransportation. Bridge must be AASHTO approved Bridge must be adequate to carry HS 20-44 Loading Must meet all Kentucky Load and Engineering Requirements New bridge must maintain existing clearance to maintain water flow Walls must be 30 inches with 10 inch mud walls and 12 inch thick wing walls constructed ofClass A concrete. All walls must be set on efficient footers. Footers must be set at a minimum of 24 inches below bedrock or approved by the County Road Foreman.
