Reference Number 0000277662 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/09/25 02:00:00 PM EDT Ellis Don Corporation, acting as the Construction Manager on behalf of BGIS, is inviting Bidders to submit their Statement of Qualifications to pre-qualify to bid on the Lester B. Pearson Rehabilitation - Tower C Project. The project is at 125 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, ON. This pre-qualification process is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process; the second phase is the tendering process. During the Tendering Phase, the pre-qualified bidders will be invited to prepare and submit stipulated price tenders for this work. The successful bidder will be required to enter a contract with the Construction Manager based on a modified EllisDon Stipulated Price Subcontract. This Request for Qualifications document sets out the requirements for the submission of the Bidder's Statement of Qualifications and specifies the evaluation criteria and Bidder selection process for this phase. The scope of work includes but is not limited to all labour, material and equipment necessary for the execution of the precast restoration scope. Based on the available design information, the preliminary estimated cost for this scope of work is valued at CAD $11,400,000 for the Tower C phase. Phase 3 of the project covers Tower C located on the North-East side of the complex. The tower consists of seven (7) levels of primarily office space plus a mechanical penthouse. This phase is similar to previous phases 1 and 2, involving the removal of interior finishes (except in heritage significant areas), mechanical and electrical services, and exterior enhancements such as precast concrete cladding, curtain wall replacement, terrace roofing, landscaping, lighting, and photovoltaic solar panels. During construction of this project, there will be other ongoing projects. The Work must be coordinated accordingly between these concurrent projects, while maintaining the required separation of time and space so that the responsibilities associated with "Constructor" remain with the Construction Manager.
