The CITY is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide PARKS LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SERVICES for the CITY under a continuing services contract ("CONTRACTOR"). The CONTRACTOR shall provide all labor, supervision, quality control, materials, tools, equipment, machinery, supplies, fuel, and any other miscellaneous items and services necessary for landscape maintenance which for the purposes of the bid, shall include weeding, mowing, turf maintenance, edging, pruning, hedge trimming, raking, sweeping, blowing walkways, playground, and parking lots daily, pressure cleaning, herbicide applications including preventive and corrective applications, fertilization and pest management services using Integrated Pest Management principles, irrigation system maintenance, monitoring and repair, maintaining and replacing, if necessary, any plants lost due to negligence of the CONTRACTOR, seasonal color replacement, removing graffiti, daily removal of all litter including dead animals, daily cleaning and weekly maintenance of all park related park furniture such as but not limited to benches, trash receptacles, light poles, bollards, playground equipment, bleachers, decorative light pole banner replacements and change-outs, flags routine painting (CITY will provide custom paint), be available at special events, programs and activities as requested or defined by the CITY Any questions concerning this Notice to Proposers shall be submitted in writing to the CITY at pwbids@cityofaventura.com
