The City of Bisbee is accepting sealed bids for constructing a Concrete Retaining Wall along the drainage ditch in front of 101 Star Ave. Inquiries may be directed to: City of Bisbee Public Works 76 Erie St Bisbee, AZ 85603 Attn: Matthew Gurney (520) 432-6002 The City reserves the right to waive any immaterial defect or informality in a Bid; to reject any or all Bids or portions thereof; to reissue this Notice of Solicitation; and to accept a Bid on a partial basis, if in the best interests of the City. The scope of work shall include but not be limited to the following: Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies to perform the repairs detailed on the plans, including excavation and removal of debris from the failed retaining wall, construction of the new footing, reinforced concrete retaining wall, slotted drainpipe with filter sock, chain link fence, yard drain and restoration of all disturbed areas. The portion of the retaining wall that will be replaced measures 44 in length and 8 in height. The project will be paid as a lump sum bid. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference may be scheduled at the project site; 101 Star Avenue, Bisbee, AZ. This meeting will allow contractors to discuss the project scope and to resolve any questions.
