Stevenson Memorial Hospital (SMH) invite all general contractors to submit proposals for the Early Works Redevelopment Project. The Stevenson Memorial Hospital (SMH) has received Ministry of Health approval for construction of a new hospital building that will wrap around the existing hospital, known as the Phase 1 Redevelopment Project. The main project is expected to begin construction in late 2025 subject to a forthcoming tender process to be administered through Infrastructure Ontario. To prepare its site for this upcoming project, SMH is proceeding with an Early Works construction project to prepare site utility services, internal roads and parking lots, the existing water tower and hospital helipad for the Phase 1 Redevelopment. Accordingly, this Request For Proposals (RFP) seeks to secure the services of a qualified contractor to undertake this Early Works project. Time is of the essence to ensure the site is ready for the Phase 1 Redevelopment Project by Fall 2025. The successful Proponent to this RFP will have the necessary project experience, leadership and team members and partnerships with qualified and experienced subcontractors to meet the full scope of the Early Works project within the timelines required to ensure the site is ready for the Phase 1 Redevelopment Project.
