TIME FOR COMPLETION: The County specifies that the Work specified in this Invitation to Bid (ITB) be completed within the specific time frame from the date of commencement as stipulated in a notice to proceed with full completion date on or before November 1, 2024. The election to use 10% Retainage inlieu of a Performance and Payment Bond (Contractors Bond or Bond) is limited to contracts valued at $150,000, or less, [RCW 39.04.010(3)] and applies only when specifically allowed by the County. Failure of the bidder to indicate its election herein will betaken as notice to the County that the successful bidder shall furnish a Performance and Payment Bond and that the cost of the Bond is included in the bid price as submitted. the 10% Retainage option is elected, the successful bidder, after award, may furnish at no additional cost to the County, a Bond inlieu of 10% Retainage
