Roof Restoration of the JW Copeland Building at 100 & 102 W Main St in Clinton, SC 29325, We are seeking qualified contractors to remove and replace the existing roof. This is in correlation with funding from the SC Department of Archives and Historic preservation. Base Bid Items: - Remove the existing Roof down to the existing roof wood decking and haul away from the job site - Repair any damaged decking and deteriorated wood framing - Install new vapor barrier and 1 layer of insulated roofing (R-20) over entire roof area to be mechanically fastened - Installing 1/4 " HD protector board, mechanically fastened - Installation of minimum 2-ply bitumen roof system and flash the walls with the same system - Apply new flashing to parapet walls and all protrusions coming from the roof area - Fabricate and install new commercial SHPO approved gutter system with matching downspouts on the rear roof area - Install new locking roof hatch on the roof area for access from inside the building - Install new 24 gauge metal coping on street side of building on the parapet cap and where existing metal cap is rusted - Install silicone coating to the panels on the front of the roof area to ensure watertight condition - Clean up each work day and haul away all debris to local landfill - Provide 2 year workmanship warranty and 10 year manufacturer's warranty for all materials
