The Project involves the demolition of buildings, structures, partial foundations, slabs, utilities, asbestos-containing materials, and other related work at the Site which includes Portage Central Elementary and Woodland Elementary Schools. The Project work includes, but is not limited to, the major items described below: a. Demolition and removal of the buildings, foundations, footings, concrete slabs, and utilities at the Site. b. Removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials, universal wastes, light ballasts, regulated wastes, and chemical materials. c. All sampling, characterization, and laboratory analyses required to properly transport, recycle, and/or dispose of demolished materials and wastes. d. Clearing, grubbing, and removal of vegetation interfering with execution of the Work. e. Preparing, submitting, and securing all required permits and documents, including all payment and fees, necessary to complete the Work. f. Removal of all underground piping and utilities as noted.
