Renovation of a detention facility in Sterling, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Reference Number 0000366791 Estimated Construction Cost: $31,000,000.00 This project consists of replacing the security systems for the Sterling Correctional Facility. Contractors have already been pre-qualified for this project, and we are only accepting bids from the contractors on the pre-qualification list. Question Deadline 11/18/2024 at 5:00 PM MT The project is funded through the State of Colorado and is subject to the State Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship requirements of the Office of the State Architect. Scope of Services: The project includes replacing the Door Control, Intercom, Paging, Access Control, Fiber Network, Woodwork, Countertops, Cooling Systems for Security Rooms, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), and Transient Voltage Surge Suppression (TVSS) systems. The project includes the work shown on the Electronic Security (ES), Technology (TY) Security Drawings, the E series Electrical Drawings, and M Series Mechanical Drawings. The work also includes the work described in Specifications 28 70 00 through 28 70 95. The new system will require a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based control system in which all systems are to be integrated. If the construction value is $50,000 or greater a Bid Bond and Power of Attorney or Proposal Guaranty is required in an amount not less than 5% of the total Bid.
