Perspective bidders interested in bidding on the upcoming exterior improvements & interior renovation work involved with the Phase III - Summer 2025 project at the Joseph Sears School, Kenilworth, IL. KSD38 will be accepting sealed lump sum bids. Bid Package #1 which includes work for the following Packages: - BP#1-02 Selective Demolition; 1-06a General Trades/Rough Carpentry; 1-06b Casework/Millwork; 1-08a Doors, Frames & Hardware; 1-08b Aluminum Storefront & Glazing; 1-09a Drywall & Framing; 1-09b Tile; 1-09c Acoustical Ceilings; 1-09d Resilient Flooring & Carpet; 1-09e Painting; 1-09f Epoxy Resinous Flooring; 1-10 Lockers; 1-22 Plumbing; 1-23 HVAC; 1-26 Electrical & Low Voltage Systems; All bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond equal to 10% of the bid amount, and the successful bidder will also be required to furnish a 100% Payment and Performance Bond as noted in the Bid Documents. Kenilworth School District 38 reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and to accept the bid from the lowest responsive, responsible bidder which is considered to be in the best interest of the District. All bids are to be in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders as noted in the Project Manual.
