All prospective bidders are strongly recommended to submit a Non-binding Letter of Intent to propose on the project by 5:00 p.m., July 17, 2025. The letter of intent can be emailed to Heather McFarland (hmcfarland@vok.org) or hand delivered to the Kenilworth Village Hall, 419 Richmond Road, Kenilworth, Illinois 60043, between 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. The Village of Kenilworth ("Owner"), Illinois, is requesting Sealed Bids for directional boring, conduit and secondary cable installation, and electrical meter and disconnect installation near and on Lake Michigan shoreline bluff. The Owner is coordinating with ComEd to relocate existing electrical equipment as part of a larger project to improve beach amenities at the Kenilworth Beach, located at 1 Kenilworth Avenue, Kenilworth, IL 60043. An existing transformer and switchgear are currently located on the bluff of the Beach, which conflicts with the planned location of a pedestrian ramp. The switchgear will be phased out and the transformer will be relocated to Devonshire Lane adjacent to a separate existing switchgear. To complete the work, the Village is seeking construction services for the following: o Directional boring, installation of conduit and secondary cable between the future location of a three (3) phase feed thru transformer on Devonshire Lane, and electrical meter and disconnect; and o Procurement and installation of meter and building exterior main disconnect located on the bluff.
