Peterborough Housing Corporation is the largest single provider of community housing in the City and County of Peterborough. We provide rent-geared-to-income and affordable housing for seniors, single adults, and families. This means that PHC provides homes to well over 4000 residents in our community. Our housing is a mix of high-rise apartments, townhomes, walk-up apartments, semi-detached homes, and quadplexes. PHC is under an agreement with the Service Manager, the City of Peterborough for Peterborough City and County. The Peterborough Housing Corporation invites Proposal Submissions to complete snow ploughing and snow removal operations to maintain the Peterborough Housing Corporation Communities in a manner which is acceptable to the authorized representative of the Peterborough Housing Corporation (PHC) and provide an environment free of snow and ice, health and safety hazards and potential slip and falls. The duration of this agreement will be for 1 year with PHC options to renew for an additional 1 + 1 year(s). Peterborough Housing Corporation is seeking 1-3 Snow Removal contractors. The Contractor shall furnish all labour, materials, equipment, transportation, taxes, storage of tools, trucks, etc. And any other incidentals required for Snow Ploughing and Snow Removal operations throughout each community. Peterborough Housing Corporation reserves the right to alter dates, modify the terms and conditions and/or to cancel this RFP at its sole discretion with no liability, cost, or penalty. Peterborough Housing Corporation reserves the right to modify the Scope of Work, amend or supplement this RFP with an addendum which will be issued prior to the closing date.
