The Public Works Department of Mesa County, on behalf of the Southwest Mesa County Rural Service, Whitewater, and Lower Valley Public Improvement Districts, is requesting Statements of Qualifications from consultants interested in performing the necessary tasks to detailed in the Wastewater Automation and Industrial Control Services Project RFQ. The consultant will perform the duties to calibrate, maintain and repair on-line process related instruments located throughout the county, and to evaluate new and existing process related instruments. The consultant shall be able to provide programming and tuning of the pump station instrumentation controls; response to electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting requests; calibration of instruments (including flow meters, pressure transmitters, air quality sensors and level transmitters); replacement and programming of communication equipment; remote auto-dialer communications troubleshooting; procedure development documentation, PLC program development and modifications, operations & maintenance training services to Mesa County wastewater staff. The successful offeror must be prepared to perform all services required by the County as outlined in Section II and III of the Request for Qualifications. The submittals will be evaluated by Mesa County Public Works staff. It is the County's goal to select a consultant who will provide the highest quality of customer service, design and project management. The award of the contract will be based on the evaluation criteria outlined in Section IV of the Request for Qualifications. There is no pre-submittal conference for this project. Mesa County reserves the right to accept the proposals or any portion of the proposals by a competent firm, as determined by the statement of qualification and the proposals, which is deemed to be in the best interest of the County.
