Site work for a civil project in Century, Florida. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project consists of: A. Replace the Motor Control Center. B. Replacement of an existing Sludge Belt Press with a new Sludge Screw Press. C. Replace pumps, aerators, piping and controls within the equalization basin. D. Repair the Tertiary Filter 1) Replace filter media. 2) Replace backwash pumps and electrical components and relocate outside of pit. 3) Construct catwalk between the filters to provide access for disinfection, cleaning and general maintenance. E. Repair cracks within the plant tankage and coat interior. F. Replace corroded and failing plant piping and fittings. G. Provide Grit Removal at headworks. H. Repair/Replace electrical controls for effluent lift station. I. Remove sediments and organic material from reject pond. J. Provide Controls for the Aeration System - 1) Replace/Install control valves on the air lines. 2) Install dissolved oxygen probes/ORP meters in the aeration basins. 3) Replace damaged diffusers. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any bid informalities, and to re-advertise for bids when deemed in their best interest. Work shall be located substantially as indicated on the drawings, but the Engineer reservesthe right to make such modificationsin locations as may be found desirable to avoid interference with existing structures or for other reasons. Where fittings are noted on the Drawings, such notation is for the Contractor's convenience and does not relieve him from laying and jointing different or additional items where required.
