Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Moss, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The scope of this contract is to add miscellaneous safety improvements within Paving District 27 along SR-52 in Clay County, SR-28 in Cumberland County, SR-26 in Dekalb County, SR-325 in Pickett County, SR-24 and SR-135 in Putnam County, and SR-289 in White, County as shown on the conceptual plans on sheets 8-58 of this document. The work shall include but is not limited to State Route 52: State Route 52 from L.M. 18.69 to L.M. 20.56 in Clay County as described herein and shown on the conceptual plans on sheet 8 to sheet 11 of this document. State Route 28: State Route 28 from L.M. 12.61 to L.M. 14.96 in Cumberland County as described herein and shown on the conceptual plans on sheet 12 to sheet 23 of this document. State Route 26: State Route 26 from L.M. 13.25 to L.M. 15.90 in Dekalb County as described herein and shown on the conceptual plans on sheet 24 to sheet 25 of this document. State Route 325: State Route 325 from L.M. 4.23 to L.M. 8.08 in Pickett County as described herein and shown on the conceptual plans on sheet 26 to sheet 29 of this document. State Route 135: State Route 135 from L.M. 9.75 to L.M. 13.39 in Putnam County as described herein and shown on the conceptual plans on sheet 30 to sheet 40 of this document. State Route 24: State Route 24 from L.M. 17.92 to L.M. 20.77 in Putnam County as described herein and shown on the conceptual plans on sheet 41 to sheet 55 of this document. State Route 289: State Route 289 from L.M. 0.00 to L.M. 2.61 in White County as described herein and shown on the conceptual plans on sheet 56 to sheet 58 of this document. Clay, Cumberland, Dekalb, Pickett, Putnam, and White Counties Project No. HSIP-REG2(227), R2SVAR-F3-051 (PIN 134735.04) The ADA curb ramp upgrades on various State Routes. Project Length - 0.000 miles Completion Time - On or before 7/31/2025 (See Special Provision 108B) Each bid must be accompanied by an electronic bid bond or a Cashier's or Certified Check made payable to the Department of Transportation, or Irrevocable Letter of Credit naming the Department as beneficiary (for Mowing and Litter projects only), in an amount equaling not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. All questions related to the Proposal Contract, Plans, Specifications or Special Provisions shall be directed to the Headquarters Construction Office (615-741-2414). Information received from other offices of the Tennessee Department of Transportation is strictly advisory. A Prime Contractor must prequalify with The Department of Transportation in accordance with Tennessee Code Annotated 54-5-117 and Tennessee Department of Transportation Rule 1680-5-3, Prequalification of Contractors, before bid authorization for highway contracts will be furnished. Prime contractors, except mowing and litter removal contractors, are required to be licensed with the State of Tennessee, Department of Commerce and Insurance (TDCI), Board for Licensing Contractors (BLC). Prime contractors must be licensed in the general classification (e.g. Heavy Construction (HC), Highway, Railroad, Airport Construction (HRA), Specialty (S), Municipal and Utility Construction (MU), or Electrical Contracting (CE)) for the type of work in the project which they will perform. Bidders may submit a Proposal without having a license and will be considered for award for twenty-one (21) days after Proposals are opened. If the Bidder does not have a license with the TDCI, on or before twentyone (21) days after Proposals are opened, the Bidder will be considered non-responsive and their Proposal will be rejected.
