The City of South Burlington is requesting proposals for an engineering study to assess current traffic circulation barriers and opportunities around Market Street and the Rick Marcotte Central School (RMCS). This will include identification and analysis of alternatives, and provide recommendations for operational, geometric, and/or other improvements to the area. In general, the scope of this project will consist of a planning process that identifies the needs of all roadway users within a defined area taking into consideration the existing conditions. The outcome of the process will be: o Identification and prioritization of improvements o A public involvement process to ensure local input and support of future projects o Clear, written documentation of project issues and overall feasibility of alternatives o A complete preliminary cost estimate for further engineering, project administration, and construction All questions related to this request for proposals shall be submitted by email no later than 5 business days prior to the due date above.
