Bid Cemetery Maintenance and Mowing Bid The City of Jefferson, TX is seeking sealed competitive bids for mowing and cemetery maintenance services. The contractor will be responsible for mowing, weed eating around headstones and footstones, removal of litter, leaves and limbs, help keep grave surfaces level, keep ditches and fence lines mowed and free of vines or obstructions, maintain an attractive appearance at all times for the following three cemeteries: Old Oakwood, Oakwood Memorial and Cedar Grove Cemeteries. If at any time the appearance does not meet the expectations of Mr. Allan Whatley or the City Council, the City will have the option to terminate the contract. The contractor will be responsible for providing all equipment, tools, fuel and Commercial General Liability Insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.00 each occurrence naming the City of Jefferson as additional insured with waiver of subrogation. Payment will be on a monthly basis. The contract begins on upon approval by the City Council. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
